RAM’26 Showcases Global Innovation in Robotics, Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing
KMUTNB Techno Park successfully hosted the International Conference on Robotics, Automation and Manufacturing 2026 (RAM’26) on 19–20 February 2026 in hybrid mode, in celebration of the 67th Founding Anniversary of King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB).
As a strategic hub for research, industry collaboration, and innovation-driven development, KMUTNB Techno Park proudly served as the conference organizer and venue, bringing together distinguished researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and international delegates to explore emerging trends in robotics, artificial intelligence, and advanced manufacturing.
The conference was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Teravuti Boonyasopon, Chairman of the KMUTNB University Council, together with Asst. Prof. Preecha Ongaree, Vice President for Planning and Organizational Development, and university administrators.
The welcome address was delivered by Honorary Chair, Prof. Dr.-Ing habil. Suchart Siengchin, Former President of KMUTNB, Director of KMUTNB Techno Park, and Advisor to the President for Industrial Research Promotion and International Affairs. He emphasized RAM’26 as a global platform strengthening academia–industry collaboration, particularly in intelligent systems and sustainable industrial transformation.
The Opening Speech was delivered by Conference Chair, Dr. Sanjay Mavinkere Rangappa, who highlighted the transformative role of AI-driven automation, smart manufacturing systems, and advanced engineering materials in shaping the next generation of industrial innovation.
RAM’26 featured prominent speakers and experts from leading global institutions and industry, including representatives from Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd.; TU Chemnitz, Germany; TU Dresden, Germany; Aalen University, Germany; German University of Digital Science, Germany; Universiti Teknologi Malaysia; Chitose Institute of Science and Technology, Japan; Deakin University, Australia; and the iRAP Team of KMUTNB.
Participants engaged in keynote lectures, distinguished talks, and special sessions covering cutting-edge topics such as Robotics and Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Manufacturing Systems, Smart Sensor Integration, Precision Engineering, and Advanced & Sustainable Materials. The conference provided a high-level forum to discuss technological challenges, real-world industry applications, and the future of smart and sustainable manufacturing ecosystems.
RAM’26 was supported by Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI) and the National Science, Research and Innovation Fund (NSRF).
The success of the conference reflects the strong dedication of the organizing and technical committees, whose coordinated efforts ensured seamless program execution and meaningful participant engagement.
